Marriage contract between Gawhar Khanum and Mirza Mahmud, 1887
Marriage contract between Gawhar Khanum, the daughter of Aqa Muhammad Husayn, and Mirza Mahmud, the son of Muhammad Sadiq, dated December 1st, 1887. The mahr is a Qurʼan worth two tumans, a qalamkar bed covering made in Isfahan worth 5 tumans, a carpet, a kilim worth 10 tumans, and three sixths of the properties inherited by the bridegroom. A note on the verso reads: "the record of Nanah Gawhar (the mother of our mother, Sakinah Khatun)'s mahr."

Marriage contract of Fatimah, known as Khanum Jan, the daughter of Husayn ‘Ali Akbar Paykani, and Ghulamriza, the son of ‘Ali ‘Abdul; the mahr includes: twelve tumans, three mans of copperware, two mans of Arabian kilim, a set of Isfahani chintz bedding, two sets of women's outfits, one made of silk and the other of Isfahani chintz, and the price of a building originally valued at two tumans, and the price of a building originally valued at two tumans, but which both parties agreed was worth three tumans of the original mahr and twenty-five Tasujs [unit of weight] of wheat.

The groom settled the following items in exchange for two hundred and sixty tumans of the mahr: a portion of land and part of a garden/orchard in Hurmanan village, part of a garden/orchard in Divun Farm, some qanats and part of a residential house in Hurmanan village, and a house, along with its stable and garden. Marriage contract of Kawkab Sultan, daughter of Mulla Ghulam Husayn, son of Muhammad Hasan, and Haj Mulla ‘Abd al-‘Ali, son of Muhammad ‘Ali. The mahr includes twenty-five tumans as an initial gift, twenty-five tumans for women's clothing, twenty-five tumans for rugs, twenty-five tumans for gold, some properties, and a share of water use. The groom settled the properties and the share of water use with the bride for fourteen riyals of the mahr.

The bride settled with the groom, exchanging two thousand five hundred dinars of her mahr for some land and properties in Habibabad village.

The mahr is one hundred tumans, which includes a Qurʼan worth twenty-five tumans, white gold worth twenty-five tumans, women's clothing worth twenty-five tumans, and twenty-five tumans in cash. The groom and his father settled some properties and some water channels for fourteen riyals of the mahr with the bride.

The mahr is twenty six tumans, a Qur’an (valued at one tuman), two-sixths of their house of residence, a portion of land, a set of bedding from Isfahan, some copperware from Isfahan, a rug, and a piece of clothing for a wedding. The above items, except the Qur’an and the money, amount to a total of forty five tumans, which remains the groom's debt. The note on the margin says: the house, the land, the copperware, and the rug were settled for thirty five tumans and the rest...
